NATCHEZ — Services for Frank Conner, 75, of Natchez, who died Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Grove African Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. James Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Conner was born Jan. 22, 1941, the son of Fleming and Ruth Rollins Conner.

He worked in roofing construction and attended Mount Bethany Baptist Church.

Mr. Conner enjoyed dancing, listening to music and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Rosa Davis, Mary Hargrave and Fannie Hargrave; and two brothers, Fleming Conner Jr. and Armster Conner.

Survivors include one brother, Charles Conner of Minneapolis, Minn.; two sisters, Ruth Wesley and Emma Sessions of Natchez; a special lady friend, Bessie Davis; a dear niece, Elizabeth Davis; a special cousin, Will Ford and wife, Jackie, of Independence, La.; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
