NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Ena Marie Ezell Jackson, 86, of Natchez, who died Friday, March 4, 2016 at her residence, will be 1 p.m. Monday at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Marvin Howard officiating.
Burial will follow at the cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. Monday until 12:40 p.m. at Laird Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jackson was born Nov. 23, 1929, in Franklin County, the daughter of Morrell and Fannie Sanders Ezell.
She was a longtime member of Morgantown Baptist Church. Mrs. Jackson was a devoted wife, mother and loved flowers and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, James B. Jackson Jr.; her parents; brothers Harold Ezell, Ferrell Ezell, Herbert Ezell, Charles Ezell and Evrett Ezell; one sister, Agnes Ezell West; sisters-in-law Kathleen Ezell, Doris Ezell, Charlene Ezell and Virginia Ezell; brothers-in-law Ernest West, James Havard, James Powell and Buddy Halford.
Survivors include one son, Rusty Jackson and wife, Debra, of Natchez; step-granddaughters Amy Sutton and husband, Josh, of Hattiesburg, LeeAnn Gardner of Austin, Texas and Meghan Norris of Nashville; brothers M.L. Ezell and wife, Marilyn, of Meadville and Freddie Ezell of Belton, Texas; sisters Margie Halford, Helen Havard and Dorothy Powell of Natchez; sister-in-law Francis Ezell of Midland, Texas; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Rusty Anders, Dale Jackson, Kenny Jackson, Doug Tanksley, Phil Lindley and Ed McCormick.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude to Rita Bailey, Debbie Partridge, Amanda Herrera, Linda Holden and Sarah Johnson for the loving care they provided.
