At least two Clayton houses broken into during weekend

CLAYTON — At least two houses were broken into Friday night in Clayton, Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office reports indicate.

Sheriff’s reports show the two calls were on Louisiana 65 and Galloway Street.

The first call occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m. on the 3500 block of Louisiana 65 while the homeowner was away in Jonesville. A neighbor alleges he saw what appeared to be three young men wearing hoodies running across the road from the house into a silver or white GMC Yukon.

Sheriff’s reports indicate three guns were stolen.

At approximately 11 p.m, in the 200 block of Galloway Street in Clayton, a homeowner returned home to find his house had been broken into as well. The report did not indicate what, if anything, had been stolen in that case.
