Jeremy and Amy McElwee of Vidalia announce the engagement of their daughter, Breanna McElwee to Brian J. Smith, son of Brian and Kathy Smith of Ferriday.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Vidalia High School and is employed by Miss-Lou Veterinary Hospital in Vidalia.

She is the granddaughter of Doyle and Bertha Bryan and Kenneth and Annie McElwee, all of Vidalia.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Adams County Christian School in Natchez and is employed by Adams County Correctional in Natchez.

He is the grandson of Donnie and Karen Shelton and Gary and Loretta Smith, all of Martinsville, Va.

The wedding will be at 5 p.m., Saturday, March 19, 2016, at the Vidalia Convention Center.
