WOODVILLE — Services for Phil Johnson Sr., 70, who died Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Woodville Baptist Church with the Rev. Warren Whitaker II officiating.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Newman Funeral Home in Centreville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday, both at the church.
Mr. Johnson was born Jan. 26, 1946, in Natchez, the son of Lee Johnson and Helen Faulkner Johnson.
He was retired from Westgate Inc., as an electrician and was a member of Woodville Baptist Church.
Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Tyniticia Johnson; and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila Sumrall Johnson; two sons, Philip “Man” Johnson of Woodville and Derrick “Dexter” Johnson and wife, Rami, of Vidalia; two sisters, Faye Ritchie of St. Francisville, La., and Edna Langley of Jennings, La.; and two grandchildren, Devin and Derrick Johnson.
Pallbearers will be Michael Brown, Chris Owens, Tony Juneau, Lacy Mathis, Scott Sanders and Mickey Yarbrough.
