CENTREVILLE — Services for Ruby Lee Franklin Moore, 72, of Natchez, who died Monday, March 21, 2016, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, located on Mississippi 24 East, in Centreville, with the Rev. Londia C. Weatherspoon Sr. officiating.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

Mrs. Moore was born June 5, 1943, in Centreville, the daughter of Ezekiel and Philestine Bertha Franklin.

She was a graduate of Wilkinson County Training School in Woodville.

She met and married Louis Moore Sr. and from that union, two children were born.

Ruby worked as a chef for a number of years and later worked for a resort management company from which she retired. She enjoyed cooking, socializing with family and friends, was enthusiastic about her favorite television shows and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Marie Frankin; four sisters; and three brothers.

Survivors include two daughters, Janice M. Dotson and husband, Michael, and Cabrina Moore, all of Hammond, La.; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; seven sisters and brothers; four stepsisters and stepbrothers; two uncles; three aunts; and a number of nieces, nephews and those who loved her dearly.
