Help Trinity School ‘bridge the gap’

Published 8:28 am Monday, April 4, 2016

Come out and enjoy a couple rounds of trap, good food, fellowship and at the same time help Trinity Episcopal School “bridge the gap.” Trinity depends on annual events like the Trap Shoot to bridge the gap between the cost of education and the revenues generated by tuition. The average gap is approximately $1,200 per student. Each year, we are thankful for those who make events like this possible and the generosity of friends, alumni, parents and grandparents who contribute to their success.

This year’s event will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at the home of David Huber, located at 37 Woodland Farm Road in Natchez. If you have never shot at Mr. Huber’s range, you are in for a treat. His home is located just off of U.S. 61 North and the Natchez Trace.

The cost to participate is $150 per adult and $100 per youth. (Direct adult supervision for 18 and under.) The price includes two rounds of trap with shells provided, lunch provided by the Butt Hutt and entry into a drawing for a shotgun. If you shoot like me, “mulligans” are available for $25 for three extra shots. Practice rounds are available at 4 p.m. Friday afternoon at a cost of $25 per round of 25 shots.

Gold sponsors are Byrne Insurance, Camo Construction, Great River Industries, Sam Gwin, Enersteel, J&J Carpet and Natural Stone, Marion Smith, Old River Supply, Sports Center and St. Catherine Ready Mix.

If you love to shoot, come on out and join us for a great day of fun and fellowship.
