MEADVILLE — The Natchez High School tennis squad received strong efforts throughout its lineup Thursday as it topped Franklin County High School, 7-0.

Kirdis Clark dominated her singles match as the junior won handidly 6-0, 6-0.

Not to be outdone, Danyel Weir and Keari Hayes won the girls double 2 side 6-0, 6-0 as well.

On the boys side, Bailey Butler won his singles match 6-3, 6-3, and Terrance Bindon and Jarren Davis won their doubles match 6-2, 6-1.

Brandon Butler and Jaylen Grennell won their mixed doubles match in impressive fashion, winning 6-1, 6-2.

In other scores, Kelsey McNeal and Kya Singleton won 6-1, 6-3, and Raheem Givens and Vincent Bonds won 6-3, 6-2.

The Bulldogs will attempt to sustain the momentum at 4 p.m. today when they travel to Vicksburg.
