MANGHAM, La. — The Vidalia Lady Vikings were done in by several miscues on the field and a slow night at the plate as it fell 10-0 to Sterlington at the Mangham Softball Tournament Friday.

“We were error-ridden (Friday) afternoon. We had four errors in the first inning. It should’ve been a 2-0 game after four innings,” Vidalia head coach Forrest Foster said. “We didn’t hit the ball well either. We only had three hits in the game.”

Tatum Turner had two of those hits in three at-bats, and Shelbi Cross had the other hit for the Lady Vikings. Shelbie Vinet was charged with the loss on the mound.
