NATCHEZ — A Natchez man is behind bars for allegedly shooting to death another man Saturday during what police say was a domestic disturbance.

Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten said Trodarrius Carter, 22, reportedly shot Eric Dewayne Hall multiple times during a disturbance at approximately 4 p.m. between Carter and Hall’s sister at a Morgantown Road residence.

Hall was rushed to Merit Health Natchez, where he later died from his injuries, Patten said.

“Our thoughts and prayers go out to all family members,” he said.

The shooting is under investigation, Patten said.

Carter was charged with murder and was being held in the Adams County Jail Saturday night on an $800,000 bond.
