HAYNESVILLE, La. — Graveside services for Dorothy Taylor Ware, 82, of Vidalia, who died Sunday, May 15, 2016, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Old Town Cemetery in Haynesville, La.

Burial will follow under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Ware was born Dec. 16, 1933, in Haynesville, the daughter of Henry Taylor and Abbie Vaughan Taylor.

She was a member of the Ferriday Bridge Club where she was a Life Master of Bridge. She loved all animals, cooking and spending time with friends and her family.

Mrs. Ware was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Kenneth C. Ware; and one brother, Jim Taylor.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Kenneth Ware; one daughter, Lisa Turnage and husband, Bert, of Haughton, La.; three grandsons, Luke Turnage and wife, Anne, Steve Turnage and Mac Ware; one granddaughter, Suzy Fay Miller and husband, Cameron; and four great-grandchildren, Lindsey Fay, Zach Fay, Hugh Turnage and Jorja Pearl Turnage.

Pallbearers will be Luke Turnage, Steve Turnage, Mac Ware, Zach Fay, James Fay and Cameron Miller.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ferriday Bridge Club.
