FERRIDAY — Services for Theresa Johnson, 66, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, May 12, 2016, at her daughter’s home in Vidalia, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Mount Sinai Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Henry Calhoun of Los Angeles officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Johnson was born May 27, 1949, in Ferriday, the daughter of Lula Johnson.

She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Sinai Baptist Church.

Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her mother and one son, Derrick D. Johnson.

Survivors include her husband, Vernon J. Calhoun; one son, Antonio Johnson; three daughters, Shawanda Johnson and Shelita Johnson, both of New Orleans, and Linda Johnson of Vidalia; one uncle, Alex Johnson of Detroit; two aunts, Carrie Jean Banks of Port Arthur, Texas and Clotea J. Smith of Harvey, La.; 11 grandchildren; and a number of cousins.
