PORT GIBSON — Services for Carrie Lee “Dit” Cole, 87, of Port Gibson, who died Monday, May 16, 2016, at Claiborne County Senior Care, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Central Church of Christ in Port Gibson with the Rev. Eugene Carney officiating.

Burial will follow at McCaa Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Cole was born Oct. 15, 1928, in Claiborne County, the daughter of Sampson Green and Alice Fields Green Moore.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wardell Cole; one daughter, Alice Tolliver; and one brother, Lessie Green.

Survivors include one granddaughter, Essie Camphor; one great-granddaughter, Ciara Dotson; two sisters, Susie Ross and Mary Berry, both of Port Gibson; and a n
