NATCHEZ — Services for Robert Lee “Bob” Wilson, 76, of Natchez, who died Thursday, May 26, 2016, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Windy Hill Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home in Natchez and from noon until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Wilson was born July 7, 1939, in Doloroso, the son of John and Pearl Wilson.
He was a civil rights activist.
Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Leroy Wilson and John Wilson; and one sister, Florestine Wilson.
Survivors include his wife, Annie Wilson; one daughter, Jacqueline Crumb; one son, Robert Wilson and wife, Debra; four grandchildren, Dexter Wilson, Jaylen Wilson, Hilton Crumb Jr. and Deboney Wilson; one great-granddaughter, Mallorie Crumb; three brothers, Milton Wilson and wife, Isabel, Mitchell Wilson and James Wilson; two sisters, Rosemary Reason and Esther Reason and husband, Freeman; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
