PARHAM, La. — Services for Bonnie N. Hamilton, 79, of Parham, La., who died Monday, June 6, 2016, surrounded by her family at Adams County Nursing Center, will be 11 a.m. today at Parham’s Baptist Church with the Rev. Toney Ganey and the Rev. Chase Weeks officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Mrs. Hamilton was born Nov. 9, 1936, in Parham, the daughter of Elvin and Dolly Curington Hutchins.

She was loved by her family and her church. She always loved to fish. She will surely be missed by all who knew her.

Mrs. Hamilton was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde William Hamilton; her parents; and one brother, Bob Hutchins.

Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Weeks and husband, David, of Vidalia and Linda Hamilton of West Monroe, La.; three grandchildren, Chase Weeks and wife, Missy, Nikki Thames and Heather Doucas and husband, Phillip; six great-grandchildren, Tiffany Weeks, Will Weeks, Taylor Cothren, Hailey Thames, Dominic and Tevin Doucas; and two great-great-grandchildren, Yuna and Sebastian Jordan; and three brothers, Ed Hutchins and wife, Bobbie, and Randy Hutchins, all f Parham, and Roger Hutchins of Jonesville.

Pallbearers will be Phillip Doucas, Dominic Doucas, Tevin Doucas, Nolen Cothren, Aaron Hutchins, Luke Hutchins, Ty Hutchins, Roy Doughty and Alvin Doughty.
