WOODVILLE — Services for Joe Benelton Vines, 88, of Woodville, who died Friday, June 24, 2016, at his home will be 11 a.m. Monday at Pioneer Baptist Church with the Rev. Lloyd Forman, the Rev. Warren Whitaker and the Rev. Kevin Dixon officiating.

Burial will follow in Wesberry Cemetery near Woodville under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.

Fellowship will follow at Pioneer Baptist Church fellowship hall.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. until service time Monday at Pioneer Baptist Church.

He was born March 14, 1928, in Woodville, the son of Dave Daniel Vines and Nellie Wesberry Vines.

Mr. Vines worked at the International Paper Mill in Natchez. He was retired and holds the record for most man hours worked at IP nationwide. He was member of Pioneer Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 57 years, Audrey Faye Hodges Vines; eight brothers; six sisters; and one great-granddaughter, Hannah Poole.

Survivors include his daughter, Mary Eloise Vines Forman of Woodville; two sons, John Ruben Bozeman of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Russell David Vines of Woodville; one brother, Malcolm Monet Vines of Woodville; five grandchildren; John Herz of Wesson, Helen Charlene Burleigh of Woodville, Andrea Carol Eppinette of Rayville, La., Nancy Jo Poole of Woodville, and Elizabeth Ann Vines of Columbia; and 11 great-grandchildren, Kirby, Autumn, Peyton, Christian, Caleb, Rachel, B.J., Joseph, John, Breanna and Nichole; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
