NATCHEZ — Services for Kenneth Vickers, 75, of Vidalia, who died Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at his residence, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Elery officiating.  

Burial will follow at the Vidalia City Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Vickers was born April 18, 1941, in Birmingham, Ala., the son of Willie and Ida Carter Vickers.

He was a truck driver.

Mr. Vickers was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Roberta Vickers, and four sisters, Earnestine Vickers, Willie Mae Vickers, Geneva Woods and Christine Cumberlander.
