FERRIDAY — Two parish law enforcement agencies are searching for suspects involved in two separate shootings of occupied vehicles Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.

Ferriday Police are looking for one or more suspects who shot at a vehicle on Eighth Street near Alabama Avenue Tuesday night.

FPD Investigator Richard Madison said four men were in a white Jeep Cherokee driving south on Eighth Street when the suspects, who were shooting from the street, allegedly fired up to six rounds at the vehicle at approximately 6:45 p.m. Two rounds struck the rear back panel, Madison said.

No one was hurt in the incident. Madison said the case is still under investigation.

Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies are looking for a Ferriday man who allegedly shot into a vehicle early Wednesday morning following a disagreement.

Sheriff’s office spokesman Vernon Stevens said deputies are looking for Randy Williams, 188 Railroad Drive, to charge him with two counts of attempted second-degree murder.

Deputies were called at 12:04 a.m. and alerted that a Chrysler 300 had been shot at on Railroad Drive near Ferriday, Stevens said. The car was struck three times by bullets, one of the rounds being found in the front passenger seat.

Stevens said the man and woman in the car were not hurt. The alleged shooter reportedly had a disagreement with the male victim involving a woman.
