NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Victoria Meng Byrne, 80, of Natchez, who died Sunday, July 17, 2016, in Natchez, will be 1 p.m. today at the Natchez City Cemetery with deacon Harold Poole officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Laird funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Byrne was born Dec. 7, 1935, in Vidalia, the daughter of Harry H. and Mary Alice Meng.

She was a homemaker and a member of First Assembly of God Church. She was a past member of the Pilgrimage Garden Club.

Mrs. Byrne enjoyed baking, gardening and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Scott Pintard Byrne; and one brother, Harry Meng.;

Survivors include three daughters, Page Blackwell and husband, Gary, Alice Jewell and husband Ricky, and Scottye Taylor and husband, Brad; four grandchildren, Tori Gremillion and husband, Brandon, Elizabeth Ryan and husband, David, Morgan Taylor and Lee Taylor; three great-grandchildren, Kailey and Caroline Gremillion and Aubrey Ryan; two sisters, Mary Lou Paine and Nancy Byrne; one brother, Austin Meng and wife, Millie; one sister-in-law, Louise Meng; one brother-in-law, Paul Byrne and wife Jan; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Gary Blackwell, Ricky Jewell, Brad Taylor, Brandon Gremillion, David Ryan and Lee Taylor.

Memorials may be sent to Natchez-Adams County Humane Society or Cathedral School.
