Nine separate Vidalia 7-8-year-old All-Stars recorded multiple hits to help lift their squad past New Iberia 17-5 in four innings.

The win sends Vidalia into the championship round today against Jackson Parish.

Macee Green, Molly Shirley, Laken Thompson Mia Drane, Ava Walker, Kinsleigh Powers, Sarah Ann Merriel and Addison Cupit each recorded the multiple hits.

The first game is slated for a 6 p.m. start.

JONESBORO, La. — Ava Walker and Macee Green each smacked a home run but it wasn’t enough as Jackson Parish topped Vidalia 17-16 in 7-8-year-old all-star action Sunday.
