HATTIESBURG — After dropping its tournament opener, the T.M. Jennings 11-12-year-old All-Stars bounced back to win two games and advance to the tournament championship game Tuesday.

The Natchez-based all-stars, however, fell to Starkville, 14-1, at the Mississippi All-Star tournament.

The all-stars defeated Hattiesburg and Brookhaven, respectively, 15-14 and 16-6, before falling in the championship game.

D.K. McGruder, Devin Winchester and Rodrick Simpson each recorded home runs for the Natchez All-Stars in the tournament, which finished 2-2 in the state-wide tournament.
