JONESBORO, La. — Needing two wins over Jackson Parish to claim the Little League 7-8-year Louisiana state title, the Vidalia All-Stars did its part in the first game with a 25-19 win, but fell short in the second game 16-6.

Liza Gregg, Molly Shirley and Macee Green each recorded four hits in the first game.

In Game 2, Green, Laken Thompson, Ava Walker and Kinsleigh Powers recorded multiple hits.
