FERRIDAY — Services for Norma Jean Barker, 84, of Ferriday, who died Sunday, July 31, 2016, in Ferriday, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Young’s Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday with John Barker and Mitchell Norman officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Barker was born Jan. 26, 1932, in Natchez, the daughter of Oscar Clinton Stewart Sr. and Jessie Johnson Stewart.

She was a member of Ferriday Church of Christ.

Mrs. Barker was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Oscar Clinton Stewart Jr.; and one sister, Dorothy Louise Coward.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Curtis Barker; one son, Mike Barker and wife, Janet, of Ferriday; one grandson, Curt Baker of Monroe, La.; and one granddaughter, Sharyl Barker of Ferriday.

Pallbearers will be J.L. Barker, John Austin Barker, Zach Barker, Curt Barker, Randy George and Brian Ensminger.
