FERRIDAY — Services for Louis “Man” Evans Sr., 64, of Ferriday, who died Sunday, July 31, 2016, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, La., will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Deliverance Temple Full Gospel Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Jennie Kimble officiating.

Burial will follow at Consurella Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Mr. Evans was born Dec. 30, 1951, in Alexandria, the son of Daniel McKinney and Rosie Evans.

He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Elijah Singleton; and his grandparents.

Survivors include his wife, Luberta Evans; three children, Louis Evans Jr. and wife, Veronica, of Alexandria, Rochelle Evans of Ferriday and Jonathan Evans of West Monroe, La.; two grandchildren, Isaiah Evans of Ferriday and Jordan Molette of Alexandria; one sister, Ann Singleton of Seattle, Wash.; one brother, William Singleton of Baton Rouge; three step-siblings; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
