With a little help from the Natchez Fire Department, Prince Street Day Care hosted a back-to-school fun day with a cool shower from a fire hose. Treshun Felton, above, shows his excitement as the water showered down.

Some of the school’s children used a towel to shelter themselves from the water. The day care also gave away school supplies that were donated from area businesses. The first day of school for the Natchez-Adams School District is Monday.
