CROSBY — Services for Donna Jean Bradley, 79, of Crosby, who died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016, at her residence surrounded by loving family and went to meet Jesus and be reunited with her “Prince Charming” Raymond, will 11:30 a.m. today at Crosby Baptist Church with the Rev. Kevin Dixon and the Rev. Alton Foster officiating.
Burial will follow at Roseland Cemetery in Gloster under the direction of Brown Funeral Home in Gloster.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time today at the church.
Mrs. Bradley was born Oct. 19, 1936, in Yuba City, Calif., the daughter of Robert Charles Mayer and Ruby Lucille Gill Mayer.
She lived in a number of places, mainly in California, through her life with her husband, Raymond Bradley, especially during his military career. They finally settled down in Crosby where they lived, worked and became invested and working people in the community.
She was a member of Crosby Baptist Church.
Mrs. Bradley was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, John Bradley; one sister, Joyce Houle; two brothers, Randall Mayer and Roger Mayer; one grandson, Randy DeLaughter; and one brother-in-law, Tom Monahan.
Survivors include five daughters, Betty Edmonson, Kathleen Hargrove and husband, Bill, Sharron Pickett and husband, Phillip, Raye Lynn Harris and husband, Tim, and Mary L. Bradley; two sons, Robert Bradley and wife, Ashley, and David P. Bradley and wife, Bonnie; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Ann Linton and husband, Bob, and Ruthie Monahan; two brothers, Michael Mayer and wife, Susan, and Donald Mayer; one brother-in-law, Jimmy Bradley and wife, Anita; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Blake Ross, Jeremy Pickett, and nephews, Jamie Bradley, John Michael Green, Michael Hollowell and Peyton Bradley.
