Friday night’s varsity football season opener between the Trinity Episcopal Saints and the defending MAIS Class AAA state champion Silliman Institute Wildcats has been postponed to today because of unplayable field conditions at Silliman.

The game will be played at 5 p.m. today at Silliman.

“(Silliman head coach TJ Davis) said his field was not in any condition to play on it. He thinks he’s got a venue for us to play at Saturday,” Trinity Episcopal first-year head coach Graham Roberts said.

The game was originally slated to take place at 7 p.m. Friday night.
