Johnny Barr of Petal and Sandra Barr of Vidalia announce the engagement of their daughter, Hannah Brooke Barr to Brian Hugh Monroe, son of Willie and Debra Monroe of Meadville.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Natchez and is employed by Gregg Dental Center in Vidalia.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Franklin County High School in Meadville and is employed by Franklin County Sheriff’s Department in Meadville.

The wedding will be at 6 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016, at St. Mary Chapel in Natchez.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony at Rolling River Bistro.
