Centreville sweeps Ben’s Ford in doubleheader

The Centreville Academy Lady Tigers topped Ben’s Ford Christian School 10-0 in five innings in Game 1 and 20-0 in Game 2 of an MAIS District 5-AAA varsity doubleheader Monday night.

Rileigh Allen got the win in both games for Centreville.

In Game 2, Sydney Lyons, Madison Dawson and Kaitlyn Devall each recorded a pair of hits. Savanna Hailey chipped in with a home run.

Centreville Academy (4-7, 2-2) plays at 7 p.m. today at Silliman Institute.
