Addison Jackson came to the rescue for Trinity Episcopal Tuesday night.
With her squad trailing 8-0, the Lady Saints’ sixth-grader entered the circle and allowed just one earned run over the next two innings, allowing her squad to rally to a 14-9 win over Wilkinson County Christian Academy in Vidalia.
Jackson was also equally effective at the plate, collecting three hits, including a double, and scoring three runs.
Jasmine Ivory chipped in with a pair of hits, and Alli Smith smacked a single.
Trinity won’t play again until Sept. 7 when it hosts Franklin Academy in a doubleheader matchup.
