Ferriday High School and Block High School will play at 7 p.m. Thursday, Ferriday principal Joyce Russ said Saturday morning.

The game was originally slated for a 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9 kickoff.

Russ said the reason for the date change was because the CENLA Referee Association wouldn’t have enough referees available for all of Friday, Sept.9 games.

Both Ferriday and Block lost their season openers Friday night.

Ferriday fell to Carroll 18-16, while Block lost to Ouachita Christian 52-6.
