NEW ORLEANS — Services for Willie Mae Conner Otis Eugene, 65, formerly of Natchez, who died Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016, were Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016, in New Orleans.

Burial was private.

Arrangements were under the direction of Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home in New Orleans.

Mrs. Eugene was born May 21, 1951, in Natchez, the daughter of Henry Conner Jr. and Bessie Smith Conner.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Geary Otis Jr.; and six siblings.

Survivors include one son, Torrey Otis and wife, Aisha; three granddaughters, Cheneace Otis, Jada Otis and Kaylee Otis; one great-granddaughter, Zanyriah Miller; five siblings, Walter Conner and wife, Margie, Robert Conner and wife, Dorothy, Rosalie Anderson and husband, Robert, Bessie Tyler and husband, Leroy, and Pearlena Johnson and husband, Richard; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
