Alisa D. Banks announces the engagement of her daughter, Alaurin Da’Janel Banks to Brian Keith Selmon, son of Mary E. Selmon and Michael Jesse Frye, all of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is also the daughter of the late Clyde Mason of Vidalia.

She is a graduate of Natchez High School and is attending the University of Louisiana in Monroe, La.

She is employed by Waffle House in Monroe.

She is the granddaughter of the late Gloria M. Wallace of Natchez, the late Elijah Banks and the late Washington and Lena Mason of New Orleans.

The groom-to-be is also a graduate of Natchez High School and is employed by Waffle House in Monroe.

He is the grandson of the late Cornelius and Sophronia Selmon of Church Hill and the late Andrew and Rosetta Frye of Fayette.

The wedding will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016, at New Hope Baptist Church the Vision Center in Natchez with the Rev. Stanley Searcy Sr. officiating.

A reception will follow the Natchez Community Center.
