FERRIDAY — Services for Mary Elizabeth Moment, 69, of Ferriday, who died Monday, Oct. 3, 2016, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday surrounded by her loving family, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Comer Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday with the Tommy Barron officiating.
Burial will follow at the Masonic Cemetery in Crowville, La., under the direction of Comer Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Ms. Moment was born Feb. 27, 1947, in Winnsboro, La., the daughter of James O. and Stella E. Till Buckles.
She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Ms. Moment was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Charlotte Youngblood; and one niece, Kimberly Youngblood.
Survivors include one daughter, Stephanie Hamilton of Hollywood, Md.; two sons, Anthony Hamilton of Smoken, Pa., and Jeffery Hamilton and wife, Tressie, of San Antonio, Texas; two grandsons; four granddaughters; one great-grandson; two brothers, Rayford Buckles and wife, Gloria, and Charles Buckles, all of Ferriday; and a number of nieces, nephews, friends, including two special friends, Ms. Nancy and Ms. Broom.
