NATCHEZ — Services for Ernestine “Sue” McKnight, 83, who died Monday, Oct. 3, 2016, at her residence, will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Cannonsburg.
Burial will follow at the McKnight Family Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday at the church.
Survivors include 11 children, Mary Baker and husband, Edward, Paul Morgan and wife, Catherine, James Morgan and wife, Mary Ann, Eloise Chambers and husband, Julius, Mamie Moore and husband, Charles, Larry McKnight and wife, Flora, Willie White and wife, Gwen, all of Baton Rouge, Leon Dorsey and wife, Jessie, Yolanda McKnight, Alan McKnight and wife, Cynthia, all of Woodville, and Robert McKnight and wife, Tiffany, of Summit; 34 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Dr. Mamie Oliver of Boise, Idaho; five sisters-in-law, Amanda Myles, Barbara McClain and husband, Edgar, Shelia McKnight, Ethel McKnight and Freddie Mae McKnight; two nieces; two nephews; her friends who she would call daily until her health failed, Shirley Kaho, Josephine Jackson, Willie M. Washington, Dorothy Johnson, Beatrice Holmes and Mildred Mitchell; and a number of other relatives and friends.
