Jaquaveon Tillman accounted for three touchdowns as the Hazlehurst Indians cruised to a 44-7 win over the Franklin County Bulldogs Friday night in a Region 7-3A game.

Tillman scored on a 39-yard pass from Quamead Stewart and a 75-yard kickoff return in the first quarter and a 60-yard pass from Stewart in the second quarter.

The Bulldogs’ only touchdown was a 29-yard pass from De’martre Collins to Xavier Green with 41 seconds to go in the first quarter.

Collins ran for 114 yards on 11 carries and went 6-for-13 passing for 57 yards, but he was also picked off twice.

Franklin County (2-6, 0-2) plays at 7 p.m. Friday at Port Gibson.
