Chris and Kaci Cothern and Crystal Senger announce the engagement of their daughter, Victoria Kae Cothern to Christopher Lane Strong, son of Chris and Michelle Strong, all of Vidalia.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Vidalia High School and a graduate of Central Louisiana Technical Community College in Ferriday. She is employed by Riverpark Medical Center in Vidalia.

She is the granddaughter of Zack and Sue Cothern of Vidalia and Wayne and Kandie Thomas of Winnsboro, La.

The groom-to-be is also a graduate Vidalia High School and is employed by Foster & Sons LLC in Natchez.

He is the grandson of Billy and Carolyn Strong and June and Carol Williams, all of Natchez.

The wedding will be at 5 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016, at Vidalia First Baptist Church.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony at The Gables. Family and friends are invited.
