Just five games into the season, Sicily Island has yet to pick up a victory — 0-5 overall and 0-3 in the ultra-competitive LHSAA District 2-1A.

Trying to get that elusive first win of the 2016 season perhaps will not be an easy task this Friday when Sicily Island travels to Delhi, La. to take on the Delhi High School Bears (3-3, 2-1).

Last year when the two teams played each other at Sicily Island, Delhi High School defeated the Tigers 42-8.

Sicily Island coach Curtis Shavers was unavailable for comment.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
