JONESVILLE — Services for Warren Lynn Wiggins, 86, of Jonesville, who died Oct. 14, 2016 at the Columns Community Care Center in Jonesville, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wallace Ridge Baptist Church in Jonesville with the Rev. Hoots officiating.

Burial will follow at Jena Cemetery under the direction of Comer Funeral Home of Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the church.

Mr. Wiggins was born Aug. 1, 1930, in Jonesville, the son of Warren Lee and Ruby Sumrall Wiggins.

He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a paratrooper in the airborne infantry. He was a deacon of Wallace Ridge Baptist Church in Jonesville and loved his family. He will surely be missed by all that knew him.

He is preceded in death by son Jimmy Wiggins; parents; sister Vondell Duvall; brothers Vernie Wiggins, Naun Wiggins Sr. and Ronnie Wiggins.

Survivors include his loving wife of sixty-one years Mary Wanda Boyd Wiggins; children Wanda Wiggins Hoover and husband, Benny, of Eden, Ga., and Robert Wiggins of Jonesville; grandchildren Chad Hoover, Brent Wiggins, Jodi Hoover, Lewis Dewey Wiggins and Brennan Wiggins; and six great-grandchildren; sister, Nell Crane and husband, Frank, of Springfield, Va., and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Rusty Duvall, Naum Ray Wiggins Jr., Charles Crane, Larry Crane, Roger Duvall and Chris Wiggins.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Creel, Larry Creel, Bud Clingan, Larry Booth, Arnie Arnold and Jerry Wiggins.
