Vidalia faces Marksville in district showdown

For just the second time this season, the Vidalia High School football team will be aiming for back-to-back wins.
Vidalia travels to face District 3-3A foe Marksville High School, which currently resides atop the district standings with a perfect 4-0 district mark.
Vidalia (3-4, 1-3), meanwhile, is tied in fifth place with three other teams.
The Vikings beat Buckeye High School last week, 21-14, while the Tigers recorded an impressive 44-36 road win at Jena High School.
Vidalia coach Jeff Hancock could not be reached for comment Thursday.
