FAYETTE — Services for Serena Elizabeth Brinkley-Davis, 84, of Natchez, who died Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Fayette.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Davis was born Aug. 1, 1932, in Harriston, the daughter of Squire and Daisy Brinkley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters, Mary Adelle Brinkley, Mary Edith Brinkley, Geneva Morgan, Daisy Martin and Teresa McQuarter Cameron; and six brothers, Elvin Brinkley, Lasalle Brinkley, Alfred Brinkley, Leonard Brinkley, James J. Walker and Samuel Brinkley.
Survivors include one daughter, Michelle Davis; two brothers, Squire Brinkley and Edwin Harris; one special friend, Wilford Perkins; two sisters-in-law, Carrie Brinkley and Willie Ethel Brinkley; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
