The Block High School Bears figures to have their hands full this week when they travel to Logansport, La. to take on the Logansport High School Tigers in an LHSAA District 3-1A game.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. Friday.

Block (1-7, 1-2) is coming off a disappointing 24-12 loss to Montgomery High School. Logansport (8-0, 3-0), meanwhile, has made winning look easy in recent weeks.

Last Friday night, the No. 4 team in this week’s LSWA Class 1A poll took care of LaSalle High School 48-0 to cap off a four-game road winning streak.

When the two teams faced each other last year at Block, the Tigers shut out the Bears 26-0.
Block coach Bo Sproles could not be reached for comment Tuesday.
