NATCHEZ — Services for Sharon Diane Hutchins, 62, of Natchez, who died Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, in Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Southwood Lodge Baptist Church with the Rev. André Ramsey officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 5:45 p.m. at the funeral home with a celebration of life wake service at 6 p.m.
Visitation will continue Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.
Ms. Hutchins was born June 13, 1954, in Natchez, the daughter of Leon Hutchins II and Edna Strauder.
She attended North Natchez High and was employed as a seamstress at Natchez Alteration Sewing Shop.
Ms. Hutchins was an Apostolic. She was a member of Apostolic Sisterhood, Home Mission Benevolent Society-Southwood Lodge Baptist Church, Girl Scout Troop No. 5357 and Sisters On The Move-True Bibleway Church.
Sharon enjoyed traveling, shopping, cruising, watching western movies and spending time with family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Reginald Hutchins; one granddaughter, Keyoncé Hutchins; and one nephew, Randy Hutchins.
Survivors include four sons, Kevin Hutchins, Willie Hutchins, Marquis Hutchins and Demond Hutchins and wife, Archtrina; five daughters, Morrisa Hutchins, Shameka Hutchins, Evelyn Hutchins and husband, David, Kimberly Hutchins and husband, Johnell, and Whitney Hutchins; six brothers, Leon Hutchins III, Claude Hutchins and wife, Edna, Ricky Hutchins and wife, Peggy, Frank Hutchins and wife, Betty, Jessie White and wife, Alice, and Michael Winding and wife, Tammy; five sisters, Freddie Jean Singleton and husband, Leon, Mary Lee Jones and husband, Clarence, Eula Mae Hutchins, Vola Mae Hutchins and Evonne Brown; one sister-in-law, Lauree Hutchins; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
