Tuesday, Oct. 25

Tira Davis, 22, charged with child neglect. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Michael Anthony Dix, 47, charged with 20 counts of felony false pretense. Case bound over to a grand jury.

India R. Dobbins, 31, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $423. Dobbins was also charged with burglary of an inhabited dwelling. Case dismissed to files.

Keisha Glover, 38, charged with possession of a stolen firearm. Prosecutor requested case to be nol pros.; state would be unable to prosecute. Bond set at $15,000.

Brandi Hardi-Charrier, 36, charged with felony taking a motor vehicle. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Michael Shawn Simpson, 34, charged with trespassing. If not paid, issued bench warrant for failure to appear at show cause. To serve 24 hours.

Kerry L. Weir, 42, charged with burglary of commercial buildings, cars, etc. Case bound over to a grand jury. Defendant failed to appear or pay as agreed.

Kevin T. Williams, 53, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor joy riding. Satisfied by time served and released. Fine set at $750. Williams also pleaded guilty to DUS — revoked or suspended. Satisfied by time served and released. Fine set at $450.  Williams was also charged with motor vehicle fleeing/ext. indiff. — felony. Case retired to files in consideration.

Wednesday, Oct. 26

Stacy Ferrington, 49, charged with possession of a controlled substance. Case dismissed — officer out on extended worker’s comp. Defendant appeared at court for three court dates, and officer was not served but subpoena was issued.

Kerin Perkins, 19, charged with possession of a controlled substance. Case dismissed — officer out on extended worker’s comp. Defendant appeared at court for three court dates and officer not served but subpoena was issued.

Larry D. Clark, 63, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $323.

Kadeem R. Conner, 18, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $473.

Kenzell D. Isaac, 20, charged with disturbing the peace. Case retired to files. Defendant committed to state hospital.

Leah B. Swafford, 41, pleaded guilty to willful trespassing. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from Magnolia Bluffs Casino – Lutannueal Flowers. Fine set at $393.

Ashley S. White, 32, charged with simple assault and willful trespassing. All charges in companion defendants had been dismissed a year ago for selective prosecution. Therefore, these charges are also dismissed.

Ellis Ray White charged with two counts of false pretense. Fine set at $500. If paid, then reset for another month. If not, issue bench warrant for failure to appear.

Aaron Thomas pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $353.
