MARIETTA, Ga. — Services for Caroline Menetre Totten, 60, of Marietta, Ga., who died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2016, at Northside Hospital in Atlanta after a long battle with Leukemia, will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home Chapel, 180 Church St., NE, in Marietta, with the Rev. Kevin Sanders officiating.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory.
Mrs. Totten was born in Kosciusko, the daughter of George Edgar Menetre Jr. and Ellen Virginia Bailey Menetre.
She lived most of her life in Aberdeen and Pensacola, Fla. She was a graduate of Mississippi University for Women with a degree in commercial art and spent her career as a senior art director in Pensacola and more recently as a landscape designer since moving to Marietta.
Her love of gardening was her passion along with art, the beach and spending time with family and friends.
Caroline was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, George Edgar Menetre III.
Survivors include her loving husband, David Totten; one brother, Bryan Menetre of Marietta; one sister, Mary Ellen Menetre Edwards and husband, Larry, of Marietta; one stepdaughter, Alaina Totten; one stepson, Eric Totten; three nieces, Lauren Edwards Sanders and husband, Kevin, Leah Menetre and Holly Kulp and husband, Luke; four nephews, Bailey Menetre and wife, Gracie, Wade Edwards, Alan Edwards and Bryan Menetre Jr.; six great-nephews, Hudson, Aiden and Haddon Sanders, George and Pate Menetre and Jack Kulp; and three great-nieces, Riley and Piper Sanders and Carter Kulp.
In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Pensacola Humane Society and French Camp Academy.
