Sicily Island, DCS impacted by ruling

Sicily Island High School has been issued a win after Delhi High School has been ruled to have used an ineligible player in its Oct. 14 contest.
Delhi also forfeited its Oct. 7 game against Beekman Charter.
The Tigers climbed to 30th in the latest LHSAA Class 1A power rankings poll by virtue of the forfeit with just one week left in the regular season. Teams ranked in the top 32 of the power rankings secure playoff berths.
Delta Charter School was also affected the forfeit, dropping three spots from No. 18 to No. 21.
Delta Charter fell to Delhi last week 42-28, but that result remains.
The Tigers wrap up their season Friday night at St. Frederick, while the Storm home Beekman Charter.
