NATCHEZ — A celebration of life service for Oscar Lee Seyfarth, 70, of Natchez, who died Monday, Oct. 31, 2016, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Jackson, will be announced at a later date.
Burial will be at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Mr. Seyfarth was born Dec. 9, 1945, in Natchez, the son of Marion Edward Seyfarth Sr. and Margaret Vermell Matthews Seyfarth.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Pitre Seyfarth; two sons, Chance M. Seyfarth of Natchez and Joshua Lee Seyfarth of Tennessee; one daughter, Carrie Williams and husband, Johnny, of Pampa, Texas; one stepson, Thomas W. Nowlin of Houma, La.; two stepdaughters, Lee Ann Lirette and husband, Travis, of Houma, and Penny Ann Pierce of Poplarville; 16 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; three sisters, Margaret Lofton of Tennessee, Gloria Smith and Jane Gray, both of Natchez; one brother, Henry Seyfarth of Austin, Texas; and a number of nieces and nephews.
