NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Ronald Eben “Ronny” Bee, 58, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016, from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident, will be 1 p.m. today at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Doug Broome officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ronny’s life.
Mr. Bee was born Jan. 31, 1958, in Natchez, the son of Bob and Jeanie Bee.
He was a graduate of South Natchez High School and a graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College. After college, he served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He then married Elizabeth Montgomery and they moved to Lafayette, La., where they laid down their roots while he pursued a job in the oil industry.
Ronny was an avid hunter and fisherman who caught a number of award-winning bass. In his spare time, he enjoyed being outdoors, cooking for friends and watching sports. Every year he would drive to Natchez to help his mother set her tree up for Christmas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Eben Bee; maternal grandparents, Warren and Jewel Rinard; and paternal grandparents, Eben and Lois Bee.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Montgomery Bee; his mother, Melba Jean Bee; one uncle, Tommy Rinard; and three brothers, Robert Michael Bee, Thomas Warren Bee and David Keith Bee, and their families.
Pallbearers will be Michael Bee, Matt Rinard, Jeff Rymer, Brad Fondren, Greg Fondren and Dee Druetta.
