ALLEN, Okla. — A graveside service was held in Allen, Okla., for Clifford Lee Douglas, 92, who died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2016, after a brief illness.
Arrangements were under the direction of Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home in Melbourne, Fla.
Mr. Douglas was preceded in death by one daughter, Jannet Ann Cox of Natchez; his parents, Samuel Veto Douglas and Annie Elizabeth Black of Allen; and 16 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 72 years, May Alice Wallace Douglas, the love of his life; two daughters, Carolyn Tillman of Natchez and Sheron Carrier of Indialantic, Fla.; known as Papaw, he loved his five grandchildren, Barbara A. Bradley, Clifford A. Cox, John R. Tillman, Douglas F. Tillman and Ronald J. Skellie; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
His beautiful smile and laugh will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
