NATCHEZ — Services for Anita Cristy Carter, 36, of Woodville, who died Monday, Nov. 28, 2016, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, will be 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Natchez with Dr. Doug Broome.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time today at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Newman Funeral Home Centreville.
Ms. Carter was born Oct. 20, 1980, the daughter of William Thomas Carter and Sherry S. Carter.
She was very active in First Baptist Church, serving as media director of the children’s church and an active parent and patron with Autism Awareness.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, I.A. Carter and Mary Carter and one uncle, Ikey Carter, who she shared a birthday with.
Survivors include her parents of Woodville; two sons, Carter Paul Scott and Benjamin Rowan Barr of Woodville; one sister, Mystic Carter Smith and husband, Charles, of Woodville; grandmother, Ann Smith Flewelling of Madison; three nephews, Charles Thomas Smith, William Brady Smith and David Carter Smith, all of Woodville; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
